DONT FALL FOR IT.....

Do not fall for it and hire this man. He Will take your money and that's it.. Never returns calls or emails for months. Doesn't keep you updated on the status of your case and fails to give you any related paperwork. He has been suspended since March 2010 but as of Jun 2010 still leads his client to believe he is practicing and bills them.. KARMA WILL GET YOU, YOU SCUM BAG AND I SURE HOPE IT HURTS LIKEHELL.

BEWARE OF THIS MAN!!!

THROUGH CRAIGSLIST THIS MAN FOUND ME, OFFERED ME A JOB AND A PLACE TO STAY...WE MET AT THE LA JOLLA FARMERS MARKET AS A MUTUAL PLACE...I CAME HOME TO DO SOME BACK GROUND CHECK ON HIM AND CAME ACROSS THE FACT HE CAN'T PRACTICE LAW AS OF NOW, WAS ARRESTED AND RELEASED ON 1 MILLION DOLLARS BAIL FOR SEVERAL ATTEMPTS OF "HITS" ON HIS WIFE...TRYING TO HAVE HER KILLED AND ALSO NOT PAYING CLIENTS THEIR MONEY! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN NO MATTER HOW NICE AND FRIENDLY HE IS!!!!!! THOSE ARE USUALLY WHAT SOCIOPATHS ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beware bad Business

Unprofessional, and one of the worse offices I ever dealt with. Be forewarned, they move this office but the staff does not improve. Please tell as many people as you come in contact with. This office charged services that were already paid for. If you insist on trusting this office keep everything in writing and do not believe anything you are told.

Very Grateful

I have to say that I am very shocked at some these reviews. My sister and brother in law had an ugly custody battle set for court in San Diego and were struggling to find a recommendation for an attorney since we live in Riverside County. I found Mr. Liss on the internet and he was very quick to respond and very attentive to the situation. My family members hesitated to hire him due to not being able to accommodate his prices and then probably three days (no more than a week) before the hearing decided to retain him. Mr. Liss basically worked a quick miracle due to the short notice that he was given. Mr. Liss gathered needed evidence and was very attainable at all times. My family members walked out of that hearing with EVERYTHING that they wanted. In reading these other negative reviews it has made me terrified for my sister that she will receive a huge bill in the next couple of years as she too was reassured that the money they paid would fully cover the case and no more funds would be required. I have since notified my sister of my concern since reading these reviews. However, for the record at this point we have to admit that Mr. Liss was the best representative for the job and did far beyond what was asked or imagined possible. If Mr. Liss was not present in that court room, the outcome would have been different so right now I would have to say that I would highly recommend him for any family law matter as we are extremely grateful for what his efforts accomplished. I pray that my family members never experience the scenarios described in some of these other reviews. Lucky for them their case is over and won.....thanks to Mr. Liss!

Avoid Steven Liss.

Steven Liss botched my custody case and my finances. Steven Liss quit on me in the middle of court and then sued my ex. Steven failed to protect myself and my children. As with so many of his other clients, my children and myself cannot recover from the financial devastation. He made it to where my children could not receive child support. He did not file papers in a timely manner. I think we should all get together and file a class action. We need to find out if he has insurance or if he has let it lapse. I will write more later as I have alot to say, so does my son.

• Cons: Fails to do job.
