In Short
The dual nature of this dark hideaway is part salty seaside pub, part first-class restaurant. The deep burgundy walls, dark leather booths and old-school whaling murals and harpoons create a brooding atmosphere, contrasted by loud chatter and clinking glasses. Tuxedo-clad waiters prepare many of the rich dishes tableside, including chateaubriand and vegetables in cabernet demi-glace. But not all the dishes are high-brow; for dessert there are root beer floats and rice crispy treats.
