Nice Italian place in La jolla.
When your feet are still sandy, your hair salty & windblown, but you want to wear your bikini under a beach dress at a nice Italian place w/ decent wine selection, La Dolce Vita on Prospect is a good spot!
I do recommend it--great place to take a date for a romantic evening, it IS right off Prospect! BUT the tables are crowded and there is no bar or waiting area for that matter. Pretty much nothing for me (vegetarian) worth mentioning. But my friend said the Pizza Margherita tasted like one he once had in Rome!
Service could have been quicker. How many years now and they still have the same scary bathroom...down a long dark hallway, i have to take my pepper spray with me every time! But as for the food, it's pretty good for non-vegetarians and affordable! I will say, the atmosphere is very nice!
