In Short – More than 100 years ago, the beach cottage that houses the Brockton Villa was the private weekend retreat of a wealthy San Diego physician. These days, the inviting dining room, wrap-around veranda and outdoor patio welcome both tourists and locals alike. At breakfast, crowds wait for tables and a taste of the thick, soufflé-like specialty Coast Toast. Dinner entrees include a black canyon angus rib eye, shellfish linguini and horseradish-crusted organic salmon. – –

This is such a cute romantic spot. I love the lighting, the wine list and of course, the views. Perfect date place, as I've never been disappointed by an evening here.
