Romantic. This is such a cute romantic spot. I love the lighting, the wine list and of course, the views. Perfect date place, as I've never been disappointed by an evening here.

More than 100 years ago, the beach cottage that houses the Brockton Villa was the private weekend retreat of a wealthy San Diego physician. These days, the inviting dining room, wrap-around veranda and outdoor patio welcome both tourists and locals alike. At breakfast, crowds wait for tables and a taste of the thick, soufflé-like specialty Coast Toast. Dinner entrees include a black canyon angus rib eye, shellfish linguini and horseradish-crusted organic salmon.
