Cute lunch place in La Jolla. We went there during Memorial Day weekend for lunch. This cafe has a nice clean modern feel to it, with cheery furniture and a nice outdoor seating area. The food was excellent - the salmon salad was awesome with the salmon baked to perfection. The strawberry topped french toast looked gorgeous. Even the coffee was perfect. Service was friendly and fast. Cafe was kid friendly too, with even a family restroom. Very clean place. Only suggestion would be to add more healthful alternatives to the kids menu. A lot of fried stuff but not much else.

good service, nice view. I love going to Cody's for breakfast or lunch, the menu is somewhat limited, but I haven't had anything bad yet. The staff has always been friendly, and it seems they know how to give good service and yet not be too intrusive. I agree with some of the other things though, the parking is horrendous, but on a nice day in La Jolla, why not take a walk. The only thing I really don't like is the price for the amount, the taste is great, but the quantities for how much they charge is a bit much. Overall, its a good place to eat with a great view, I would recommend it for anyone.

Editorial Review. Seaside cottage serves late breakfast including gourmet omelettes and berry- topped French toast. Lunch features specialty sandwiches, salads and pasta.
