Terrific pianist and great bar. I could not beleive my eyes when I saw Michelangelo at the piano at your restaurant. The last time we saw him was at the Bellagio , Las vegas, playing his heart out in the piano bar. We had the most fun listening to Michelangelo entertaining us with Fidller On The Roof, Rahpsody in Blue, Somewhere in Time and all the show tunes from Broadway. The only thing we are disappointed with is " Where is he ??? " we don't see him anymore and we thought he will be hired on a permenant basis.

Our recommendation, bring him back for happy hour. He could be your biggest asset.

Amazing pianist. We have dinner at your restaurant at least once every two weeks. We went to have dinner at Manhattan of La Jolla Friday night February 10 about 5:30 PM. The food was excellent and the dessert just right. However just about when we were done, a gentleman by the name of Michaelangelo got up and started playing the piano. this multi talented pianist was just awesome and amazing with his versatile and highly entertaining repertoire. we were totally drawn just like a magnet to the bar area to have a few drinks just to listen to him. we requested a few songs that he proceeded to play and the whole place was hopping with excitement and joy. As a matter of fact we never have seen that place so filled with applause and excitement ever. Who is this pianist who mesmerized us with his piano music???

The most romantic restaurant in La Jolla.. The most romantic restaurant in La Jolla. We had a drink in the bar first. My husband and I loved the veal marsala. The caesar salad was the best ever. You feel like you are in New York. Can't wait to go back.
