Descanso Treasure!. Descanso Mercantile is a treasure trove of lovely finds and gifts in San Diego's backcountry. Both this shop and Ivy Gate Cottage, another lovely gift shop, are surprising finds in Descanso, California -- on the way to Julian, Arizona or San Diego.

This darling yellow cottage is chock full of vintage, antique and new items at great prices. As a resaler myself, I haven't found a better place in San Diego County for unique finds at great prices.

Stop at Descanso Junction for a bite to eat and then visit Descanso Mercantile and Ivy Gate Cottage. You won't regret it!
