In Short
Founded by Jim Crute, a biochemist who adopted the tag line "better beer through science," this local brewery has won numerous awards for its ales and lagers at county fairs and national competitions. Thanks to premium ingredients and innovative brewing techniques, the company has gained a faithful following among many restaurants and bars in the San Diego area and distributes handcrafted brews through a limited number of regional liquor stores. Bottles, kegs and three growler sizes are available for purchase at the brewery.
