I never thought that I would say I love going to the dentist. I never thought I would say this, but I really really love this dentist!! It's become a therapeutic thing to go get my teeth worked on here, seriously, it's so comfortable and relaxed its basically like going to get a manicure for your mouth.

The only reason El Camino Dental could have low ratings is because everyone hates going to the dentist-- no matter who it is or how great they are.

I count myself amongst the most traumatized dental patients-- my last dentist was a complete sadist and ended up going to jail (no joke) so it took a lot of persuasion to get me to go back to the dentist after I left a root canal that Dr. Evil was working on unfinished for two years.

My mom knew how terrified I am of the dentist (I have to take valium before I go to any dentists office) -- but after my mom went in for an appointment here with Dr. Arjmandi, she called me up and begged me to give this place a try. She told me that Dr. Armandi is practically a "Dental Therapist" -- she numbs you topically before applying any shots in your mouth (and she'll wiggle her fingle on your gums to make it hurt less when she is giving the shot), she explains EVERYTHING to you in terms you can understand, makes sure you know that "the patient is always the boss when they're in the dental chair" and she even massages your shoulder during procedures to help you calm down.

That said, I've been to the dentist four times in the last six weeks. My teeth look better than they have in my life, and I can finally eat food again without worrying about how hard it is to bite down on or whether its going to be too hot or cold. Not only that, I actually ENJOY going to Camino Dental, everyone is so friendly and funny and I feel like I am treated like a real human being here. The girls who work at the front desk are stellar and totally straightforward, Sarona, the assistant who has been working with Dr. Arjmandi on my teeth, is hilarious and super helpful, and of course, there is the queen of kindness, Dr. Arjmandi herself who should win some sort of award for being the least scary dentist in the entire world.

Please please take my advice and don't let your teeth get any worse-- make an appointment with Dr. Arjmandi and you won't regret it. It's the best thing I've done for myself in years.

Camino Dental in Enc.... The Big CON!! Try and get the basic cleaning and see what happens.

Its a Big NO! they won't do it. Just happen today, they want to do the advance Perio cleaning about $250 bucks instead. I said no just want the standard my insurance only pays that in full, I can not afford the advance at this time. They said NO again. So I said can you put that in writing so I can let my insurance know this because I am only allowed to come here. They said no we don't put anything in writing.

So there you go!! Just got off the phone with Delta dental insurance company and they said they have to honor what the insurance pays and you want as well. So off to other dentist per Ins co.

Great Dental Office. Wow - I can't believe some of these negative reviews! I consider myself to be explosively hyper critical of bad treatment, and yet, in the many years that I've been going to Camino Dental I have never had any bad experiences. The receptionists, hygienists and dentists have been professional, efficient and polite on all visits without exception. I guess more people will speak out when upset rather than when happy, so there will likely be more negative feedback in any such forum, but when I saw this info, I just wanted to relay my positive experience.

Can't Trust this Dentist. This is the most unprofessional dentist that I have ever visited. On my first visit, the hygienist had me in the chair towards the end of the appointment and told me that I had to get some shots of antibiotics in my gums. I asked how much it cost and if insurance covered it. The shots were $500 and were not covered by insurance. I told her that I wanted to think about it and she said that it was either now or at the next appointment in six months, at which point the damage would be much worse. I ended up feeling pressured and getting the treatment because I wasn't sure what to do. Once I got home, I was able to research my condition better and found out that there were several alternatives that were never mentioned to me.

I decided to give them a second shot since this is the dentist that my insurance had appointed to me. I asked for a regular cleaning and then when I came out, it ended up being a $75 special cleaning that I didn't ask for and they never mentioned it when I checked in.

I can't recommend a dentist that cannot be trusted. The only thing they seem to care about is upselling and having you spend more money.

Dr. Park, Great Dentist. Dr. Park was very caring and nice as was his staff. I am so afraid of the dentist, and I was referred to Dr. Park by a friend. He made me feel comfortable and gave me a smile to be proud about. I really feel like a different and more confident person. I have referred many friends and family, a great dental office.
