Good Tepanyaki.
I LOVE tepanyaki and this is one of many in San Diego I have tried. I have to admit it has grown on me since the first time I tried. They chefs have a lot of flair and the food is actually really good. Would like it more if they had some type of spicy mustard sauce, but it is tasty nonetheless. My wife loves the sushi rolls. Overall the qualtiy is good, entertainment value is there. Not inexspensive but too badly priced either.

Chefs slice, dice and throw the ingredients on a sizzling steel grill at this Japanese steakhouse in Encinitas..
In Short
Follow the trail of fiery orange lanterns to this Japanese steak and sushi spot. Inside, groups gather around teppanyaki tables for hot-off-the-grill steak, chicken, fish and veggies. Toward the back of the large dining room is a sushi bar that serves up specialty rolls and sashimi. If the idea of seeing one more flaming onion volcano isn't too exciting, skip the hibachi and grab a spot near the bar for a low key dinner experience.

Fabulous sushi rolls and service! Servers & Chef's are fun!.
My husband and I go to the sushi bar 2-3 times a week! Much fun! Huge portions! Friendley people! Great habachi service as well. Every one new in town I tell them about Miyabi's. Just had it for lunch today again. Now my coworkers are hooked on it! Go Give it a Try!
