Awesome hair color and stylist!. My hair was in some serious need of color correction and shaping.

Lisa Richardson did an excellent job. I came in with blonde/orange brassy haircolor. She took her time correcting what needed to be corrected and updated my haircolor.

Needless to say, I am in love with the new blonde highlights and the darker shades she chose for the rest of my hair.

And I'd say the price was very fair for all the work she did on my hair - cut, color, and correction!

Thank you! I will be back again for my hair maintenance in 6 weeks :)

Wonderful cut and color!. My friend, Nathalie, has just purchased the Phoenix Hair Spa Salon. I went into the salon to help her get things situated. It was obvious that I had been very neglectful of my hair care. One of the perks I received was free consultation on my hair. Lisa gave me great ideas on the cut, style and color. After Lisa cut my hair, Maria colored and foil wrapped my hair. I have since learned about hair color care and the differences in the hair care products. It has really made a difference with the feel and look of my hair. It has been greatly appreciated. Thanks girls for a new look!

Horrible service on my prom day. The atmosphere at the Phoenix Hair Salon in Escondido was really nice but the customer service was horrible!!!

I went to get my hair done for my senior prom and I didn't even get seated until 30 mins after my appointment time (which then made me late for pictures). Then I got moved 3 different times to different seats so that the regular clients could be seated and I was ignored. When they finally got to me, they tugged at my hair and were really rough. I found pictures in their books showing what I wanted but they ignored them. Then when my mom asked if they could fix something small so that it would be symmetrical on both sides, the main lady got really snooty at my mom and said that she better be lucky because they normally don't allow moms back there with their daughters. My mom was being my eyes for me because I had to take off my glasses. They were very rude and it was the worst experience on what was supposed to be one of my best days. I had a coupon for a free updo so I used that but if I was going to pay, I wouldn't have. At the end, the main lady just left without any goodbye because she had other more important clients I suppose. My mom had to fix my hair when I got home.

Everytime someone complimented my hair, I gave all the props to my mom. After all, she is the one who made it look great :)

I would never recommend for anyone to go there. Ever. That is, unless you like being treated like trash.

Highly recommended hair spa!. Spa experience was great. Very professional, fabulous interior design with earth/ocean/sky theme, and really friendly staff. I called one time for an initial appointment and the stylist, who is also the owner, made her expertise apparent right away. Immaculately clean, not too pricey, excellent products with no sales pressure, and accommodating appointment times. I was happy with the haircut I received and my stylist was clearly a perfectionist about her work. I'll definitely go back and try out their coloring work as well. It felt like escaping to the Mediterranean for 2 hours!
