Tasty tamales. When you can't get homemade tamales, the tamales at this place are a good alternative. I am not a big fan of tamales in general, but I do like these because they are moist and not as dry as many that I have tasted out there.

It's been a few years since I have gone back, but the place looks a lot nicer and the people I have talked to really like their tamales.

Best tamales in San Diego County!. I absolutely love the food offered here... they are a tamale shop but they also have incredible rice, beans, and service.

The owners even told me their rice and beans recipe so I can make them myself at home... problem is tamales just take too long to make yourself. But that works out just fine since you can buy them here and it's well worth every penny.

I've even traveled here from Lemon Grove just because the other ancira locations just are not the same!
