Tango Restaurant on Grand Ave. in Escondido. Tango serves dinner every night of the week. And lunch Wed - Fri, so far. I know some customers have asked for lunch every day. The food is fresh, unique, very affordable, and delicious. It's not Asian, it's more Mediterranean with a California Modern sensibility. Half Price apps during Happy Hour every day from 4-7. A full bar. Can't be overstated - come to Tango. I'm thinking souffle and Steak and Potatoes for dinner. Yum!

A constantly evolving menu of eclectic offerings from nationally acclaimed chef Rico Bartolome takes guests on culinary adventures at this romantic North County restaurant. Teaming classic European techniques with Pacific Rim influenced recipes and fresh seasonal ingredients, he dazzles diners with unusual pairings like goat cheese tempura with honey-balsamic caramel, osso bucco with Panang curry, and pistachio duck schnitzel with sweet and sour cabbage. Desserts include ginger gelato and Grand Marnier carrot bread pudding.
