Steak was terrible.. I ate here a few months ago, so this review is a little late, but I was just surprised at how bad steaks were. I had the bone-in-ribeye, which is my go-to steak at good steakhouses and I would have to say it was the worst I've had at any good steakhouse. Not to mention, the border around the booth we were sitting in was completely covered in dust. Not what I would expect from a steakhouse at this level. Maybe it was an off-day, but with so many other decent steakhouses around, why go back.

Known locally for its wall of San Diego celebrity caricatures whose faces splash its spacious venue, the Palm restaurant is nationally recognized for its simple presentations of impeccable steaks and huge lobsters. The Palm is first-rate classy, and so is its patrons. Mature diners pack the brown leather booths and New York saloon-type bar on any given Friday night.
