The best Cigar Shop in San Diego!. I stumbled upon this cigar lounge about 3 years ago and have rarely gone anywhere else. San Diego has many great lounges but none rival Excalibur Cigar Club. The Humidor is huge, the seating is spacious and comfortable, and the wine and beer selection is great! The staff are very knowledgeable and rarely try to up sell you on cigars. I can't say enough good things about it so you'll just have to come in and try it!

Best cigar bar in San Diego. I attended the Rocky Patel Event at Excalibur on Friday Sept 19th. I was blown away by the expansion of the lounge and the brand new humidor. The new humidor was beautiful, by far the biggest and best stocked in San Diego. All of the construction had just finished in time for the event. There were still a few exposed beams in the lounge but I am sure that will be completed by the next time I go back. These guys really know their cigars, this is the best place to smoke a cigar in San Diego.

Great customer service, great atmosphere, great selection.... I have always known I had loved smoking cigars, but I never really knew much about cigar smoking and the different types of cigars themselves. I recently went into this little shop and was amazed at how friendly the staff was. Bruce taught me the ropes about cigars. I mean, he really went out of his way to tell me about the differences about cigars and really explained everything to me, the novice cigar smoker. He recommended some cigars he thought would be good for a beginner cigar smoker such as myself. Well, I ended up buying a nice butane lighter along with about 5 cigars he had recommended. He was also kind enough to throw in a bottle of butane fluid and a cigar cutter to get me started.

Well, I can now say that I absolutely loved the cigars he recommended me and I will definitely be going back to try some more cigars out and will probably end up buying a humidor soon from him as well. I even LOVE the lighter he sold me (a Vector MX-4 Pinnacle)! I now have a whole new appreciation for cigars because of Bruce and this shop. They have a great selection of cigars and lighters as well.

Not only was Bruce friendly and helpful, but ALL of the staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Excalibur also has a great atmosphere. They have a nice, clean lounge in the back which is a great place to just go and relax and unwind in their comfortable couches and chairs and enjoy a glass of wine and a great cigar!

So if you are new to the "cigar experience" like I was, or even if you have been enjoying cigars for years, I highly recommend checking out Excalibur!
