Named for the Japanese word for "friend," this sushi bar and restaurant serves sashimi, rolls, and bento boxes with a smile..
In Short
Almost the entire left wall of this restaurant is covered with photos. The photos are of the restaurant's regulars, many who visit several times a month for the inexpensive sushi and teriyaki dishes. The dining room has a cozy vibe with vases of bamboo fixed to the walls, Japanese art, and oversized booths for families and groups. Dinner favorites include the Mexicali roll - a cruchy, spicy spin on the California roll - and tempura salmon.

Best Sushi in South Bay. Great sushi and other items, friendly staff and it's so cheap. I go at least monthly, so check it out!

Sushi any day!. When they say "What do you want to do tonight?" I always answer "TOMODACHI" Since they opened this family owned business, I have been there day/night, by myself, with my son, boyfriend, birthday or any other celebration, and of course GIRLS NIGHT OUT! The Menu has tons to choose from, variety of beer, and what always brings someone back, the friendliest customer service, when they remember my name, I don't know if it is a bad thing (that means you are always there!) or a good thing (GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE). Regardless, they have me coming back for more! There specialty rolls are.......and those baked mussels (do not leave with out tasting those baked mussels)....can i just say....or#?sm in your mouth!
