Like a lot of people here, we hired airmakers because of ther good reviews on yelp and othe placees. They were very nice men who came to the house and fixed my heater for a very good price. My nieghbor uses him to now because he does a really good job.
not rely on airmaker, call them never call back ! !
Good HVAC Contractor.
We were checking around for some good HVAC contractors in San Diego and almost didn’t call Airmakers because I didn’t like their website. My husband said that it looked like a contractor’s website so I called anyway. He was the 3rd company to give sus a quote (we found all of them on the internet) and he was the cheapest. But we never automatically go with the cheapest quote because sometimes you get what you pay for so with the low bid and bad website, we almost went with another company, but in the end we decided on Airmakers.
We were very happy with our decision. Their team was clean and professional. They didn’t take long. They used Trane, which is a brand that we researched and liked. They did everything right. No over-charges or anything. And the boys that were here were very nice.
I’d like to recommend Airmakers to anyone who is shopping for a heating and air conditioning contractor in San Diego.
We really liked the service.
This is the nicest contractor I have ever used. van gave us a quote that matched the final price and it was better than any other contractor we talked to. So we hired him and within a day, we had a new heat pump installed in our old La Jolla home.
He asked us to write a review for him in Yelp, which we did and we are writing one here too.
A Very Good Contractor for Furnace Installations.
As I have said in other reviews, our furnace was on the fritz and we called Airmakers because of all the good reviews they have. A technician came to our home in San Diego and worked ont he furnace. Actaully got the old thing working, but we knew it wouldn't last so we had him give us a quote for a new furnace. The quote wqs pretty good so we just went ahead and had him do it. Actually, at the time we did not get quotes from other companies, but we checked after the installation (I know, back asswards) and found out that the price he gave us was really good.
The furnace works great so we are happy with Airmakers and would refer him to others.
Terrific Service. Terrific price and service. Bought split system, and they did a fantastic job.
This is the second review I have written for Airmakers because I want to help them with their business. It's companies like this that we need to help get the word out for. Airmakers is a throw back from the old days, a company that takes so much pride in their work to do it right.
When Van installed the new furnace in our home, he explained everything so we could understand it. He even walked me through how to work the thermostat. I don't know why they make those things to be so confusing, but I have never been able to work my old one. I can now program the one Airmakers gave me. Van said I could call him if I ever have any questions on it. What a great company!
No real complaints. They had good pricing and solid service. Nothing to write home about. I suppose all the good reviews about these guys are true. He was about 20 minutes late to the appointment, but other than that, I am really pleased with their work. He installed a brand new Trane heat pump system and don't really have much else to say about it. It works great, no problems. Will see how it works a year from now and may update my review at that time.
Great Price sure, but there's more....
I've been so happy with this company that I've written them a few reviews in other places on the internet.
Our furnace stopped working in what seemed to be the coldest day so far. I know, living in San Diego - could be worse, but it was pretty cold for our kids. I called Airmakers the next day and he was out pretty quickly.
He gave us an awesome price and to be honest, i would have paid hima lot more for the work he did. really, the furnace worked better than it did before it broke down. We could never get heat to our third bedroom, but after he got it working again, sure enough, hot air is now blowing all the way to the back of the house. I don't know what he did, but Airmakers has made our lives a whole lot more comfortable.
I would hire these guys again, no questions and refer them out to anyone who needs HVAC work.
Great response time! Great price!.
We had a furnace problem overnight, and this morning the temperature in the house was 59 degrees. Yes, this is San Diego. And maybe 59 doesn't sound too cold. But having lived in it I can tell you it's pretty uncomfortable, and the temperature was still dropping.
I've never had to call for HVAC repair before, so I called several other places recommended on Google/Citysearch before I called Airmakers. I was surprised to find the first available appointment was in three days. One place couldn't get here until next week! I tried to explain this really couldn't wait, but to no avail.
The dispatcher from Airmakers seemed to understand why this was a bit of a crisis for us. The repair guy ("Van") arrived within 2 hours of our call. He clearly knew what he was doing. It turned out to be a relatively simple fix, but not something a lay-person like me would likely figure out. Van was done in no time, and just charged us for the call. VERY reasonable price, and no run-around about the significance of the repair or upcharges for the short visit.
I will definitely call Airmakers next time I have a problem. Great price, great customer service, and it's great to have the furnace heating again!
