good eats. good eats, but owner RUdy Arucan now has a bad reputation in HOnolulu Hawaii. He was a photographer who accepted payments but never delivered the products. He took my wedding pictures 9/24/2005 and I paid over $4000, he avoids me and my husband and is unable to retrieve the files from that day. I think it's not fair for him to do that to us. Where are the pictures? If not, refund my money. THanks.

Best hawaiian bbq with great Service in east county. Mahalo! I am a big Mexican(Samoan looking) guy and when I crave somehting(Rarely) I crave it pretty bad and will have it for days at a time. I usually get the BBQ Mix plate, I love the ribs and teriyaki beef the most. The Maccaroni salad is pretty darn good to boot. And this is coming from a guy who has tried EVERY Hawaiian BBQ place from PB to Chula Vista all the way to east county. I prefer the one in Santee over the one in El Cajon anyday!

The service here is top notch from the cashier, cooks all the way up to the manager! Since moving to Santee this has been my favorite restaurant by far.

Their is a few good places in san diego for this specialty, however this seems to be the best dollar for dollar, followed by Da Kines.

Editorial Review. Casual BBQ chain serves the famous "plate lunch" with rice, macaroni salad and one of many hot meat selections.
