WOW!!!! I have dealt with Argo quite a few times as a homeowner. I've had gravel and R/R ties delivered on a number of occasions. I have found their staff to be courteous and efficient. I must admit, I've always talked to a lady on the phone. I think I've called about 10-times in all and talked to the same lady each time........ Their prices are fair, there deliveries have been as scheduled and very cooperative.

Terrible Customer Service. I work on base at Camp Pendleton which is located fairly close to argo stone. I called in order to get a qoute on white gravel that we are trying to purchase in order to complete a memorial for fallen Marines. The guy that answered the phone was a complete ahole, his first statement when I enquired about getting the gravel was "who are you" in a aggerssive un polite tone. When I told him who I was he proceeded to chew me out and tell me how we always call him for quotes and never buy anything. I am following procedures in order to buy, as a goverment cardholder you have to obtain 3 diffrerent quotes before you make a decision on which one you are going to go with, but this guy took his self completely out of the race. He told me he would not give me a quote and not to call back. Really how hard is it to email a quote!!! Judging from the other reviews I am not the first one to deal with this guy.

Bad customer service. I visited Argo on a Saturday to purchase some river rock. I encountered the rudest sales associate I've ever met. It was so bad I asked if they even wanted me as a customer. I'll never go back.
