The menu has changed and its only Mediterranean food. i found the food was ok. but not worth the prices...well unhappy with the unprofessional ism i heard from the kitchen with the owner screaming at employees. yeah alot...too bad cause the waitress was outstanding. the cooks took for ever.and poor cooks were being constantly harassed by the owner. too bad.... it was quite hectic and uncomfortable for us......
go for the view and the service - leave your appetite at home.

I don't think the menu has changed much in the past 30 years. If it's not broken then don't fix it. This certaintly isn't the case. The menu is almost as bad as the food. We had been there once before and it wasn't good but we deceided to use our gift certificate we received from our family. The food was terrible. Starting with the tasteless salmon skewer appetizer and ending with the stale and freezer burned ice cream for dessert. If it wasn't for the view of the setting sun and the terrific service, it would have been a completly awful event even with a gift certificate. It's a shame a community such as Oceanside can't do better for a nice evening out then the Flying Bridge. It's better to stay in and cook for yourself then to eat there. Maybe if you were allowed to cook your own food or even bring in food from home or a restaurant and just pay for the view. An idea the owners might want to consider.
- Pros: The view and the service - setting sun was incredible
- Cons: Food, menu, price, and lack of parking
