Best in San Diego County!. This place is the Absolute best automotive place I have ever been to. It is family owned and it evident in their interaction with customers. Every time I have gone they have given me the best pricing and the highest in quality service! They are honest and upfront, they have always stayed within or under their estimated pricing. I will never take my car anywhere else! Would recommend this place to ANYBODY and EVERYBODY!

Best Brake Service, 10+ Stars. Great service. My daughter took her car there for a brake problem. They said the brakes were fine, problem was ABS. They took 8 hours looking at it just to find the problem and the cost was less than 200. John, the owner, and the rest of his crew, gave me honest answers and didn't try to fix something that wasn't broken. They went far beyond any repair shop I've ever been to. People you can trust. And they did all this with me, just over the phone.

Great customer service. So I shopped around for new tires, and saw Hawthorne's ad in the Yellow Pages, and gave them a call. The prices on their tires were very reasonable, and the owner himself is the one who answered the phone and gave me the deal I wanted! They're an independent dealer and he gave me a choice on quite a few different brands of tires he has access too, which was cool. The reason I went there though, was because of the way the owner communicated with me over the phone. He was very informative, and literally wanted to find me the best tires for my Expedition for the money, and he did! They also checked my brakes, shocks, and alignment for me for free, and as I was leaving, John (the owner) also gave me tips on things to watch out for on the new tires. Great crew there!
