I brought my school group here on a field trip during our cooking week. The owner was very nice and helpful. He showed the children a tour of the restaurant and even let them go into the back of the restaurant to learn how to make dough. They loved this experience and learned a lot about the world of sports during their tour. They also learned how to ring in an order on the computer system. They even got to make a pizza all on their own as well! They loved being able to play the arcade games afterwards and had a blast! We will definitely be coming back this year.
I can only speak about the pizza and salads. Rossi's pizzas are the best around bar none, hands down. You got to love a pizza called No Guts No Glory. The salads are decent, but the pizzas are the main attraction.
If you want a different interesting pizza check this place out! Ok... I'm embarrassed I would have NEVER gone here but, I was looking for a job and the were hiring. I had sent my resume then thought man I need to check this place out. Went in with a friend and realized IMMEDIATELY, I would not work there! You can find a spot to sit down at a booth or they have long tables, kinda like picnic tables. Bigscreen TV and a game room. A tiny bar that you can go chose some beers and take back to your table. You have to go and order at the register. I have to say the Chicken Ranch pizza was great! It has Chicken, Jalapenos, Bacon, red onion and ranch dressing! My friend got a ham sandwich that she enjoyed. I wouldn't really do their salad bar after looking at it but, I did love their ranch dressing! This is a great place for families to go and the kids can run wild in the game room while adults enjoy a beer and food.
One of the best pizza places in North County. Nice place, very friendly. Has a small game room, and the place is filled with sports items (the door handle itself is a baseball bat). They have a full menu of non-pizza items as well, although I've yet to try them.
A good friend told me about this place, so I thought I'd check it out. It has a super fun atmosphere, and the service is friendly. The beer selection is beer-ific! There are a good amount of beers on tap, many local San Diego ones. I ordered the chicken ranch pizza just the way I like it- light on the ranch, and no pineapple, it was DELISH!
Great pizza! Got pizza delivered. Normally Im not a big fan of chicken pizza but this one was very good. Their California pizza with avocado, tomato, and bacon was fantastic. Look forward to coming in to watch a game and have a couple of beers.
Live jazz every Wednesday night. 8pm-whenever. Come check it out! Lots of great music and it's free!
great pizza, lots of toppings, love the $1.99 salad bar. Great beer selection, the coldest beer in town. Fun place for the whole family, kid friendly. Great place to watch the game big tvs
NOT THE PLACE FOR NFL games! – I am not a reviewer that is a secret employee of Rossi's. So you will get the truth on this one. I am a serviceman. My buddy and I were looking to find a non-crowded place to catch our team's games and spend some of our hard-earned cash on Sunday Sept.18th. The young gentleman who took our order was more than accomodating, since there were only 3 customers in the entire establishment at 1030am. Since they ONLY have 3 televisions from 1992, we were told we could use the remote control to flip back and forth between the 2 games. After 2 beers @ $4.50 a piece, and an ordered pizza was plopped onto our table, the matriarch hag from the back came out and took the remote back from us and said. "Noooo you can't have the remote". I lobbied for her to let us be, since we were the only other people besides an old man watching the Steelers game and there was NO REASON she needed it back. She just didnt want us to "have control" over anything in her establishment. She wears a Dallas Cowboys apron and is DEVOID of any customer service whatsoever. When I told her that we should be able to watch the games since nobody was there, she was smug and said "hopefully nobody will be here later either!" I didnt even ask for my money back, SHE BROUGHT IT UP and gave it back to us. She obviously has something against men calling the shots. Save your hard earned money for someone who cares about NFL football and the customer's well being, for this dive DOES NOT.
I love to go watch the games here, the TVS are HD and not from the 1990s, the oldest TV is 2005, and I like the sound quality. And its never over crowded. I am sure there must have been some misunderstanding, I was never treated like that. Please contact the owner at Rossisp@yahoo and tell him what happened, and I am sure he will take care of you. Their customer service is usually excellent.
Best Pizza and Burgers in San Diego – We have been going to Rossi's for over 30 years, its a great place to take the kids, there's is lots of video games and things for them to do, The food is fantastic, best pizza I have ever had, my husband loves the burgers and my kids love the chicken strips. We always have a great time, great food, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. I would highly recommend Rossi's to anyone who loves good food.
