In Short – A small pond and garden separate this restaurant from the rest of the Lomas Santa Fe Plaza. Through the giant wooden doors, customers can opt to sit in the dining room, the teppanyaki room, the tatami room (with traditional mats), or at the massive sushi bar. If beautifully-arranged sushi and sashimi aren't your thing, go for the teppanyaki room where skillful chefs whip up sizzling meals of meat and veggies right at the table. –
A True Teppanyaki Experience

Have a craving for table side cooking? Samurai brings the heat with out the circus sideshow. Fresh vegetables, big cuts of meats with the sauces to compliment; this meal leaves you wanting more. Leftovers are just as good next day, so don't feel shy asking for a box to go. Whether Rich or Rob is cooking your food, every bite will be one to remember. My personal favorite: Filet and Shrimp.
- Pros: Good food without the show
Great Sushi with Fun Bar Seating

The Chefs are always having fun and the wait staff are on top of it. This is the spot to go for a Sushi craving.
- Pros: Ask for the Chef's Special Special
- Cons: When not at the bar the atmosphere changes.
Ambience, sushi bar

A little pricey, but a great date spot due to it's terrific ambience. A very long and excellent sushi bar, a private room that can be reserved for small parties, and even some of those grill tables where they show off their knife skills. Next door to the North Coast Repertory Theatre, so you can make an early dinner / theatre date evening.
- Pros: Ambience, sushi bar, variety
- Cons: Pricey
