I had a great time at Sam's Place in Solana Beach!. A friend invited me to Sam's Place in Solana Beach! I think it was a special event offered once a month. Mediterranean menu was offered. The meal included salad, eggplant Babaganoush, hummus & pita bread with wine. I had the lamb with rice & veggies and it was awesome. Entertainment throughout the evening included live Mediterranean music, flamingo dancers and lovely belly dancer.. Food was awesome. I highly recommend it. I believe it was newly renovated to include an outside patio. The owner and all of the staff were incredibly hospitable. I enjoyed the experience and know you will too. When you go, tell them Debi told you about them.. Enjoy!

Great fish and chips...amazing owner!. I have been eating at Sams for over 20 years. My mom has been a costumer since it opened. The food is great and the owner is amazing. He makes you feel like family. Its a great little family restaurant. Try the fish and chips or the gyro(its great!) A little pricey, but well worth it!!

Avoid Sam. Sam is extremeley rude. The food is OK. Our family has been customers there for over 15 years. He did not recognize me as it had been a few years since I had come in. He was overly inappropriate and he has lost our business. Be cautious of this place and the owner.
