The Cardiff Medical Spa Hair Removal Services – I recently purchased a deal thru Sign on San Diego. For $99 I could have several treatments for full leg hair removal. I as so excited because they location was only 2 miles from home and for $99 it was worth a try.
When I came into the office for my first session I was told I need to purchase a plastic cover for their laser machine for sanitary reasons. It was $10 and I was told to keep it in my glove box (smart idea!) so I had it every time.
Bebe, the RN made me very comfortable and was extremely knowledgeable. It stung a bit but she was careful to ask how it felt and was concerned with my comfort. I have completed 3 treatments and already notice a huge difference. I can't wait to not have to shave this summer! I have followed all of their instructions, stayed out of the sun, did not sweat or bathe immdediately after, and have had great results with no negative side effects. Two of my friends have also booked.
I would definitely recommend Bebe for laser hair removal.
So HAPPY I found this place – Love this place and its people. The staff is knows their stuff and don't "oversell" or criticize in order to sell - in fact they told me how great I looked BEFORE I even did anything! Facials excellent - really thorough not just fluff job. Laser specialist is amazing: neither the laser hair removal or the IPL hurt. The doctor does the botox and fillers - he is an artist! I joined their spa club so Everything is cheaper - like botox! & fillers - and its only $100 for a whole year. I will be able to try all the treatments I ever wanted!
Cardiff Medical Spa has a magic wand of youth – The staff is genuinely nice. They describe products if you are interested but do not pester with product placement throughout the treatement.
A doctor in NY injected my veins several years ago and the experience was so painful result so minimal, that I never returned. After two treatments at Cardfii, my roadmaps are in the glove box. For the first summer in ten, I am wearing shorts and mini skirts.
IPL on my back has impressed my dermatologist who worried that with so much damage I was a big cancer risk. Now all of the moles and pigmentation are smoothed out.
Getting pixel work on my face was intimidating at first, but it fine once I got over the fear. The results are exciting . . . I look like I have been on oxygen and IV drip, my skin is glowing.
It was a great spa experience with the best results of any spa I have ever been to . .. and I am a Spabee.
Ruined my skin :o( – I had a series of IPL treatments at a medispa in La Jolla with fantastic results. My skin had moderate diffuse redness, and the IPL took care of it. I also had two small sun spots (smaller than the size of a pencil eraser) that were completely vaporized by the IPL. My only remaining problem was a broken capillary above my right brow that the IPL didn't treat.
On a friend's recommendation, I went to the Cardiff Medical Spa. According to my friend, the doctor there had a new laser that he had used to treat a broken capillary. I made an appointment, and the doctor suggested another IPL, saying he would go "deeper" than the last technician had. He also noticed a scar I have on my forehead from a childhood injury and suggested that I let him use the pixel laser on it, as well as on the rest of my face. He offered me a great deal. I told him I wanted to think about it, but he said he could fit me in that afternoon (this should have been a red flag). I agreed because I wanted to get rid of the capillary. MISTAKE.
He went way to deep on the IPL, and even though I told him I was in pain, he and his staff practically held me down to continue and to perform the pixel laser OVER my freshly IPL treated skin. I was begging to leave, to just GO, because I was IN PAIN, and they held my shoulders down and told me it was almost over. It hurt, it burned, and I was almost in tears.
I was told I would have a few days down time; some slight swelling, redness and peeling. It was two weeks. My face swelled to twice its normal size and was COVERED in big, pus-filled scabs. When my friend, who had also had the pixel, saw me, she freaked. I looked way worse than she had. She couldn't recognize me.
Now, one year later, I'm left with large patches of hyperpigmentation where the swelling and scabbing had been the worst. I also have lots of broken caps. Great. It's costing me a lot to fix this. DO NOT GO TO THIS MEDI-SPA.
