I tried to do a maintenance myself which did not turn out well, so much for trying to save money. I ended up having to take my car to the shop. I was surprised to find that it would have been a lot less expensive to take it in in the first place. They are very reasonable for a general tune up, much cheaper than I thought. They will be taking car of my car issues from now on.
