Homestyle family cooking...ummm ummm. Found this gem through their facebook page. The minute we walked in to the place we felt welcomed. We went for breakfast and we decided on a skillet, it was a great choice, as a mater of fact I had the Johnathan's Choice with Country Fried Steak and gravy. We will definitely be going back!!

One of Vista's GEMS this little Cafe offers you a home on every visist where they know your name and the food is always Superb. HANDS DOWN IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY the BEST HOME MADE SOUPS AND HOME MADE PIES and the nitely specials are from 'Mom's CookBook".... I KNOW she is back there cooking! You will never leave hungry... and this is not fast food but fresh healthy comfort food... from hand made ChickenPot Pies to Melt tender steaks and fresh salmon and swordfish on specials, Burgers that taste like they are fresh from the Bar B Que and Lemon Merengue pies and fresh Blue Berry pies that are twice the size of any place we've been. REAL BROASTED chicken and the portions will make yo ask for that take home bag for sure! Sons, daugters and more... the whole family hosts, waits and serves so come in soon and find your new home for great familt dining or that quick but sooo good lunch you gotta grab. THIS is ANOTHER GREAT VISTA FIND! Follow Vista Village Drive North off the 78 FWY about 1 mile or so... you cannot miss it! Just come hungry! Find out why everyone knows Greg and Elaine.. .they ARE the Vista Way Cafe. 5 minutes from the Krikorian... so stop for dinner and have money left for popcorn for a change!! We sure do!
