Best Kung Pao Chicken. I have been eating here for years, and it still remains my favorite Chinese restaurant in San Diego. I actually can't think of a better place to eat Chinese food.

Don't make the mistake of thinking this is the same food as Panda Express. Yes it is owned by the same person, but the food is definitely better.

I almost always order the Kung Pao Chicken - the best I have ever had. For those of you that like Kung Pao Chicken, PF Changs also has amazing Kung Pao Chicken, but it is definitely different.

Panda offers a tremendous lunch buffet each day, giving you the chance to eat approximately 10 different items for $12.95.

Moderately priced Chinese eatery offers rooftop views and a variety of Mandarin and Szechwan specialties.. In Short
Perched atop downtown's Horton Plaza, this contemporary Chinese restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating is a far cry from typical mall food. An upscale version of Panda Express, it features traditional recipes handed down for generations updated with flavorful sauces from China's different regions. The menu offers diners a chance to indulge in old favorites like lemon chicken and honey walnut shrimp or discover new taste sensations like tea-smoked duck, Asian peanut noodle salad, or the Mandarin hot pot. Fortune cookies dipped in white chocolate are a surprise bonus.

VERY friendly service, outstanding food.. Went on a friday night and the wait was not long at all. Loved our food! The iced tea has a sweet orange flavor and it is incredibly refreshing. Try the crab wontons and gyoza... outstanding. The walnut shhrimp dish is amazing. Great sevice, super friendly enviroment. I will be back for more!

good chinese food. This is a nice place to go on a Saturday night. Very nice atmosphere. There is a little bit of a wait, but it is worth it. It got the chicken in garlic sauce which was very good and a real ginger ale (very good!). I didn't get dessert, but the frosted fortune cookies that they bring you are awesome!! I should have bought some to go!

One of their best. I've been to the Panda Inn's in Pasadena, Glendale, and Rancho Cucamonga. This one is really nice. I always order an off-the-menu item of Sauteed Shrimp, which is basically just a plate of shrimp in lobster sauce; it's awesome! I love their rasberry lemonade, though they're not refillable.
