dishonest people to deal with. The equipment is old. Geogre at the front disk is specially rude. This place should be out of business.

I walked out on first visit. I will leave at that, other wise I could write a whole page of negative comments about them.

Best gym Downtown. Increadible experience. After wasting my time with overcrowded and overprized gyms, I am glad I joined Pure Fitness. They have a world class outdoor workout. Their aerobic classes are among the best I have experienced. Rachalle has a bomb of a Boot Camp and Will has a killer abs class. If you are looking for yoga, then you have to try Robert's class.

Their outdoor lap pool is clean and accessible.

The Pure Fitness staff is always frienly and helpfull.

They also validate 2 hours of parking Monday-Saturday. Unfortunately Sunday's parking in not validated, you need to park Sundays on the street.

Their menbership term is for one year and after the year it stays month to month with a 30 notice.

The deal Pure Fitness ofered me was reasonable. I am a student and have a light budget. I appreciate a good value and great service.

I strongly recomend Pure Fitness and sugest you go to their website and print a free pass.

Poor customer service, all the amenities -- far from top of the line. Pure Fitness is having major management problems that are negatively impacting it's customers. The customer service there is now approaching abysmal. The best trainers there have recently been let go with next to no notice to the clients who signed substantial contracts in order to train with those trainers. Some clients only maintained their memberships and had signed contracts to train with these particular trainers just days before each were let go. Yet, even clients known to be in a unique position were given the run-around and in the end more or less told, too bad so sad, you're stuck training with those we have left.

The locker room is tiny and, as a result, bumping into one another and getting stuck looking at body parts you'd rather not see is common. The shampoo/conditioner in the showers are all either low quality or watered-down. The showers -- hot after someone flushes, drainage problems, rusty and moldy -- so don't forget flip flops. Men's showers have no curtains -- one has an intense spot light that reveals all. The towels feel like sandpaper. Blowdryers are old and scarce. Hot tubs and saunas have been out of order for extended periods since Oct 06. There are a number of new cardio machines, but while many of them are connected to televisions, they do not all work. The club has a variety of classes, but only a few are worth attending. The yoga classes are great, and I hear the spin classes and the Mon/Wed morning lifting classes are great. There are no late classes. The weekend hours are limited. The trainers that remain at this point are mostly new, some are are talented, but few come close to the ones that were let go. This club does not fulfill the swanky potential that you think of when you read about it or even maybe that you think when you first take your tour. Under different management the gym would have more potential, but at this point it is no award winner.
