Great food and services! I love the pasta and the way this place is decorated! We enjoyed the way how efficient the staff are. This is one great place here.

Very impressed. Where else can you get authentic pain killers and truffle fries? The mall location disguises the quality of this place. The food is unique with great vegetarian options. The service is decent - don't go when you're in a hurry, but great place to have a relaxed meal. We took my mother-in-law and her friend here for her 93rd birthday and they were very impressed - always good to make points with the mom-in-law! Thanks Paradise Grille.

Paradise Grill is a favorite of mine. How can you beat a location that has so much to offer. A fine place to drop in before or after a movie, a day at the county fair or a jaunt at the nearby beach. The freeway access makes it a desirable meeting place after work too.

Years ago I ate at a Paradise Grill in Encinitas. It was a favorite. I thought this was the same place, but told it isn't. The logo looked similar so we had to ask.

Caribbean music resonates in the background of this upscale paradise. I liked the clean lines and the white shutter feel. We sat in the room upstairs off the kitchen. It's an open kitchen, so don't worry if you need to have your food sent back, no one will be video taping "kitchen help gone wrong" for youtube.

Service was slow...but the buttery herb olive oil drizzle melt in your mouth Focaccia made me forget all about that. I could've snagged a pan of that and been a happy carb coma camper. As a matter of fact, I'm sad I didn't get a doggie bag for that alone. I could be eating a square while I do this review. Dang.

For an appetizer I had the Firecracker Shrimp. It said it was hot, and I'm a wuss for hot food, but it was actually very tasty. The portion was large and I was happy with that.

Now full on bread and shrimp, I have the Bacon and Blue Salad. Now who doesn't love bacon and blue cheese! I appreciated the bite size romaine lettuce. Better for a date. Nothing worse than a dangling piece of lettuce. I brought half of this home in a lovely doggie box and ate it before the review. I have to say, the flavors blend nicely and it was still tasty. Oh did I mention the Focaccia croutons. Yum.

For dinner I had the Peppercorn Steak. After much discussion we decided that Hanger steak is carne asada, without the asada.

A newer item to the menu that needs a slight makeover. I'd add some peppercorn for one. My personal choice for this meal would've been crispy onion straws instead of the julienne type french fries, but that's just me. I took home half the steak, and I will say, it was quite tasty here at home. Sorry doggies.

Great place to bring a first date. Great place to bring a first date, or for an anniversary. Great outdoor seating. A large fire pit with metallic blue rocks covering the gas flame. Also some couch seating available for cocktails and plenty of table tops for dining. Very surprised to see some of the low ratings for the Paradise Grille.

I have been here twice and have had zero complaints thus far. Granted, you cannot escape the Grille for less than $20 per person, but it is a fine dining establishment in Del Mar, which is to be expected.

Took my girlfriend for our 6 month celebration. The waiter was very kind. We ordered Louis Martin Cabernet, which I recommend.

Split a pizza as an appetizer and you will leave with leftovers. We had the appropriately named Del Mar, and nearly got through all of it.

She ordered an Ahi Sandwich, which they made special off the lunch menu for her because it was about 7:00. I ordered a pesto and chicken pasta which was very flavorful and had a perfect ratio of chicken to pasta to tomatoes.

It was a very pleasant evening. Just make sure you sit down stairs on the patio, and you won't regret it.

The service is friendly and the feel is inviting. First of all the location is great! Quality restaurants are hard to come by in North County. We love the fact that we can stop in after a movie even without a reservation. The patio is warm and inviting. The burgers are great. The service is friendly and the feel is inviting. We love it!

Service were excellent. The restaurant, food, and service were excellent. My only complaint was that the pan seared sea bass, while superb, was overpriced at $27 and needed a complementary dish such as a potato or vegetable.

Made us feel like one of his family. We ate Thanksgiving dinner at the Paradise Grille and had a wonderful experience. There were 9 adults, an infant and a toddler eating at 4:00 pm. Our table in the courtyard was very comfortable. Our server, Tanya, was a true professional and was very attentive. The owner, Conner, made us feel like one of his family. Teddy, the bar manager, gave us recommendations on wine pairings that were excellent. The turkey dinner melted in our mouths. Everyone raved about the food. I'm not sure that I will be able to get my wife to prepare the traditional Thanksgiving dinner in the future. She and the family loved being spoiled and not having to clean up. We will return to this "paradise" often when we visit our children in Southern California.

Great date night place. Decided to dine here as a Pre-Oscar celebration - and what a gorgeous place it was! Upscale tropical elegance - white plantation shutters, fireplace, dark wood floors. Ask for one of the booths for added privacy.

Impressive & extensive wine list - but if you plan to really enjoy yourself in this area then you should look into becoming a member. Substantial savings per bottle of wine.

Good selection of appetizers/salads/pizzas/burgers/main courses. Some unusual pairings of ingredients - good if you are a foodie. Not so good if you are only interested in regular fare.

I normally don't eat bread - but I was a huge fan of their focaccia that came as soon as we were seated. Goonie-goonie... was heavenly. Had to stop eating them if we were going to enjoy the rest of our meal.

Had the Ahi Tuna Stack - and although this is pretty common at any Asian-Hawaiian fusion restaurant, I did notice that they marinated their ahi alittle more than other places... and mixed up the textures/tastes of creamy (avocado), crunchy (red onion), salty (ahi), sweet (mango) and tart (pineapple). Yummy.

Tried Judy's Apple Salad - since I always have my salads dry, this was suggested as the best option. Very good. Candied walnuts are like dessert. Alittle heavy on the blue cheese, though. And could have had more substantial lettuce variety to suport the thinly sliced apples. Oh - and it was sans dried cherries. Bummers. I hear the dressing is fabulous. Took 2/3 of salad home to save room for entree.

Was very excited about the Miso Glazed Alaskan Halibut - portion of halibut is impressive. Should serve with wasabi mashed potatoes instead of hash... and skip the bacon bits which didn't add anything to the dish. And perhaps a small portion of extra miso sauce for the fish. Took 2/3 of the fish home.

Great date-night place. Bar/lounge on bottom floor is also very nice. And cannot wait for the weather to warm up as the patio seating looks like a lot of fun - perfect for HH.
