We had a great evening!. Sat in the bar area Saturday night. Service from the waitress was exceptional and all our food courses were top notch. Thank you for a great evening!

Great food. Enjoyed a large group meal there in the outdoor courtyard which was lovely. Great food and everyone enjoyed each creative dish they ordered. That is quite an accomplishment!

Love the outdoor seating. I've only been here for lunch and drinks - so based on that, I'm pretty happy about this place!

The Dungeness crab bisque was superb. It was creamy, and you could definitely taste the crab. I would also highly recommend the grilled mahi mahi avocado sandwich, the BBQ braised short rib sandwich, and you can't go wrong with any of the burgers. I have not tried their brick oven pizzas, but it's definitely on my list.

Also, I must comment on the service. Everyone was super friendly, and the bartender made some amazing drinks for us. I was pretty happy they served Red Rock - one of my favorite red wines.

I love the outdoor seating...since we're in Del Mar, the weather is usually fairly nice. We usually sit by the firepits - it's a nice place to sit and a have a cocktail or two on a chilly night because the fire will definitely warm you up.

Absurd Corking Fee!. We dined here last night and were truly astonished that you would charge a $7 corking fee for the bottle of wine we bought FROM you. This is greed at its best. I don't mind paying for a high quality meal, this just borders on the ridiculous. Won't be back. Service was mediocre.

A hidden gem!. A friend turned me on to Paradise Grill...had driven past many times as it seems very non-descript from the outside. Now it is one of my faves that I frequent once or twice a month!

Excellent food, beverages, service, ambiance, reasonable prices.

The outdoor patio area is nice and relaxing, love the firepit.

Sign up for their emails...was able to catch a nice duo playing guitars and singing on the patio that I wouldn't have known about otherwise. And I just got my birthday email with a coupon for a free meal!

The staff is very helpful and accomodating. The chef will even take special requests.

Never had a bad experience...keeps me going back for more!

Where's the waiter?. Food is Great,

Atmosphere is great

Entertainment is Geat

Clean

Would be top of the list except for the service.

Waiter was the worst - we had to go look for him for eveything.

Would have stayed for the desert if he had returned to take the order.

Would have given it a 4.5 but stopped at 3.

Oherwise - great place to eat.

A Taste of the Islands. Paradise Grille is a treat! I ordered the filet mignon which comes with asparagus and fluffy mashed potatoes. The dish didn't look very large when the server handed me my plate, but boy is it dense! My friend had to help me finish my filet mignon, which was very succulent- as it should be. We came around 5pm and it wasn't very crowded which was nice. I enjoyed the upscale, yet laid-back island atmosphere. Next time I want to eat outside by the firepit!

no quiet table even with reservations. we had reservations and they showed us to a very loud table in the bar area. We asked for a quieter table and they said they didn't have one. There were empty tables but they said they were expecting large parties. We were three people. We left

Great Restaurant for a large crowd, not to mention amazing food!!!. I was recently in the San Diego area visiting a friend, and she recommended that we go to Paradise grille for dinner. The ambiance was great and the service was fantastic, not to mention the food was delicious which means we left the restaurant feeling totally satisfied. I would highly recommend this restaurant to those visiting the area, and it's also a great spot for large parties, so keep paradise grill in mind next time you are planning a dinner party, etc.

Amazing Service and delish Seafood!. I recently met friends for some dinner and drinks at Paradise Grille after work for happy hour and had a wonderful experience. Our waitress was really helpful on what to order since we'd never been so I tried the Salmon Ravioli and Paradise Salad. The food was so fresh and delish!! The atmosphere is idyllic for a nice post-work cocktail to relax-I felt like I was on a little getaway! I would highly recommend this spot if you enjoy a nice patio, great food, great drinks and a beautiful atmosphere. This is my new fave spot!
