worst service. Went for lunch with some friends from out of town. Terrible service. One of my friends never got her meal. We could not find our server, In fact, she never came around at all to see if everything was OK; never checked to see if we needed our iced tea refilled, how our meal was, etc. Overall service from beginning to end was terrible. A good server would have noticed that there was one meal missing when the other meals were served and went right back to check on it. Not so here. After an unreasonably long wait, we had to ask another server to check on the order. By the time the manager showed up at our table, the rest of us were just about done with our meals. The manager did a poor job in compensating for the error. I have had lesser mistakes with better compensation in other restaurants. Not only did my friend not get a meal, their poor attitude ruined everyone's lunch and appetite.

Great View, Reasonably Good Food. You can always count on a decent meal at The Boathouse. What they lack in food quality they make up for with the view. The Lobster night packs a good crowd, but it's especially messy and not great. Friday night is Prime Rib night, which is better, but not always consistent. Cocktails can be pricey, and they talk you into getting a tall for just $2 more, but it's not really worth the extra money. Worth coming here at least once.

great for the bread. Being fair, my food was decent, especially the bread at the beginning. After that, it goes down hill, our waitress was very friendly, when we saw her. Everything was overpriced, especially for the amount you got. The view of downtown at night is beautiful, too bad you cant see that from the stuck in the 70's restaurant. We were also disappointed in the fact that our gratuity was included for us. Now normally, if it was a large group, I understand, but there were two of us...to me, a tip is something I decide on, not the restauran

DO NOT EAT HERE. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS. THIS IS THE WORST RESTAURANT I HAVE BEEN TO EVER. A VERY LONG DRMATIC STORY SHORT, WE HAD AN HOUR AND A HALF WAIT TOTAL FROM SITTING TO FOOD COMING OUT, ALL 4 STEAK AND LOBSTER DISHES WERE COOKED WRONG, WHEN WE ASKED FOR A MANAGER THE "OWNER" CAME OUT AND THREW A BUNCH OF ATTITUDE ARGUING WITH US THAT WE HAD NOT BEEN THERE THAT LONG ALL ALONG ROLLING HIS EYES, WE TOLD HIM HE WAS BEING RUDE AND HE AGAIN EYES ROLLING TOLD US WE COULD LEAVE IF WE WANTED TOO. I WISH I COULD ACTUALLY HURT HIS BUSINEES FOR THE SCENE HE MADE AND EMBARRESD MY WHOLE FAMILY AT OUT MOTHERS DAY DINNER IN FRONT OF ALL OF THE OTHER CUSTOMERS. SERVICE=BAD, CRAMPED=BAD, OWNER AND MANAGER= RUDEST GUY I HAVE EVER MET. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE, YOU WILL BE HUGELY DISSAPOINTED. I THOUGH GAY GUYS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPY AND NICE! NOT THIS GAY!

Fresh catches, steaks and pastas are best enjoyed outdoors amid salty air and sea breezes at this scenic oceanfront restaurant.. In Short
For an afternoon lunch or sunset dinner, take in panoramic views of downtown, Coronado and the Marina at this nautical-themed spot. Take a seat in the dining room against large, waterfront windows, or inhale fresh ocean air on the patio. Weekend brunch is the ideal family affair; this special menu features breakfast and lunch items along with $5 bottomless mimosas. Famed surf and turf combos include the filet mignon with scampi or lobster.
