Nice salsa & seafood!. Great seafood stuffed rellenos! Nice atmosphere, although the birds can get annoying landing on the tables and dipping into your chip basket. Nothing a little "shooing" won't fix, but dampens the mood a bit. I highly recommend this place over the restaurants in the square.

One of the best Margaritas. The best margaritas I have tasted in San Diego. The food is not bad and the service was friendly. Occassionally they will have live music playing. Great place to take a date or just to relax on a sunny afternoon with some friends. Thumbs up!

Best Mexican Food with the Best Atmosphere for the Best Price!. We first went to this restaurant because of the buy one get one free meal in the entertainment book. But you don't need a special deal to save money at this wonderful Mexican getaway. The food is authentic and delicious, the service is friendly and well timed, and the prices can't be beat. I recently went with a group of 11 people and together we all spent less than $150. The atmosphere is festive, with mariachis wandering around and a very colorful decor.

I love to go with my husband for a casual date night and with friends visiting San Diego to show them a taste of Mexico!

Editorial Review. Landmark Mexican restaurant in an Old Town hacienda with festive patio seating in the original Bazaar del Mundo.
