This San Marcos sushi spot distinguishes itself with its authentic but relaxed vibe. The zen ambiance is created with hanging lights decorated with pink flowers, light wood booths and potted bamboo. Flavor-packed specialties include the Tiger Roll--baked lobster and albacore piled on a California roll--and the Super Chargers Roll, a deep-fried California roll topped with spicy tuna. Come hungry and give yourself a week's worth of protein with the all-you-can-eat special.

Best All-You-Can-Eat in all of San Marcos. You'll never be let down if you go to Huku Sushi in San Marcos. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is AMAZING, and the value and portions cannot be beat. For $19.99, All-You-Can-Eat over the bar sushi, for the quality of food you receive is unheard of. I remember chowing on a Red Dragon roll and it was fresh, delicious, and best of all, all-you-can-eat! The chefs there are timely with orders and also are wonderful conversationalists. If they see that you're willing to talk and in good spirit, they'll engage in some light banter, and you don't have to worry about them being rude or noisy (they seem to have good sense and courtesy, which is a plus).

Even if you do no order the All-You-Can-Eat, the rolls are modestly priced for the portion and quality. My friend of modest size will not spend more than $10 for lunch(including tip) to find himself satisfied.

Sushi with hospitality. Sushi Huku, being located in its little nook in San Marcos has the atmosphere of a mom and pop restaurant, small, cozy, good food, and friendly atmosphere. The chefs there at the bar greet everyone with a warm welcome when they walk in, and if you sit at the bar you will get to know them by name. The sushi is top notch as well as the other varieties of japanese dishes they have to offer. I?ve been a regular for the past 2 years, and would recommend it to anyone who loves sushi.
