Horrible!!!. Is nothing sacred? I ordered flowers for a funeral: four arrangements and six corsages. I was very clear that the deceased favorite flowers (daisies) were to be used in everything and I was assured that this would be done. I had the staff person read the order back to me and make sure that it was clear. Managers were checked, everything was set.

What arrived was nothing I had asked for. Not only that, it looked like left-overs from the weekend. Shabby and ugly!

When I called to the store owner to complain, there was no apology. She simply said that they sold old of everything I had ordered on Mother's Day. When I mentioned that my order had been guaranteed, managers consulted, and the order paid for in advance, she got mad and defensive.

If you can't count o this place for a major life event (funeral or wedding), why would you bother with anything else?Take your business elsewhere.

1800Flowers. Your husband's first mistake was going through 1800 flowers. Once through 1800 flowers i purchased flowers for my wife in NY. The delivery person didn't knock on the door but put the flowers in between the screen door and the door (smashed). They didn't even leave the vase...And they delivered it on the day i ordered the flowers...two weeks earlier than my wife's birthday. Imagine all of those roses jammed in my door. Florists don't make good money on them so they don't do as good of service.

Second, he should have gone to the florist. He should know a florist before you buy. Don't be lazy... :)

Third, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...when i was younger my mom asked me to pull the weeds from her garden. I pulled a lot of flowers out of my mom's garden thinking they were weeds (it was a costly mistake). I guess this goes back to my second point....don't be lazy.

Conroy's has always been a good florist for my family. I purchased all of my date's flowers for high school dances (prom, etc). I also recently purchased, over the phone, flowers for my grandmother while she was at Grossmont Hospital. I received many thanks from my family who was able to get to the hospital to visit.

This place SUCKS!. OMG! My husband ordered a springtime wishes bouquet through 1800flowers for Mother' Day along with a box of GOURMET HArry London chocolates. What I got was FAR from that. It was a bouquet of 5 old carnations (2 green, looking like they were left over from St. Patty's Day, and 3 purple/pink) and the rest filler flowers of yellow daisies and filler greensthat loked like it was thrown into the vase. My husband thought it looked like a bunch of weeds! AND a box of Russell Stover chocolates, far from gourmet)! I called 1800flowers last night, told them what I received and they said they would contact the florist and get a beautiful bouquet and a the right chocolates sent to me today. As of 7PM nothing arrived so I called 1800flowers again. The woman who I talked to said that Conroy's refused to redeliver saying that we got what we paid for and that they ran out of Harry London chocolates and substituted the Russell Stover and we had to deal with it. The woman on the phone said that since Conroy's was unwilling to step up she was going to contact another florist and have the correct order sent out to me tomorrow, put in the paperwork to make sure Conroy's doesn't get paid, AND she's going to see about getting us a credit at 1800flowers. So mAke sure you NEVER use this florist!
