Exchange = standby standby=no seats.
"The Old Globe is located at Balboa Park. First time coming to visit a show. I had purchased a summer package for 3 shows. Dancing in the Dark was well produced, expect the actors seemed a little long winded as we got to the intermission.
The second play which was The Glass Menagerie which i never got to to see. Now just to tell you about their policy is that I had gone to the Minneapolis for business and the by the time I able to call the box office for two choices one for standby position at 7 pm and other for seating available at 2 pm.
I arrive about 5 minutes late and they told me they have given up my seats. Which were promised to me. I can understand that they would give up my tickets but at least give me that nights showing or I can trade them in for something else. All I got was nothing I do for you and you should of read the brochure stating the policy.
Their motto seems to be
"Need to exchange your tickets to a performance? The Old Globe is happy to help! "
Obviously that was not the case. I was shock how they handled the situation.
Just a warning for people in the future who want to attend. They are very relentless about policy. Their exchange means = standby status."
