The course begins in Balboa Park, runs through Hillcrest and around the San Diego Zoo. Runners also pass downtown landmarks like Petco Park, the Gaslamp Quarter and the San Diego Harbor. A huge concert with food and live bands marks the finish line at the NTC in Point Loma.
