“Not as authentic but hey the food tastes good enough that I would definitely come back here with family or friend.”
“the staff are very nice and professional.”
“the food is even less expensive late night.”
What a great place to experience. I eat in this restaurant at least once a week and I have never had a complaint about the food. They are open until 3 am every night. The food is even less expensive late night...check out their late night menu. The owner here strives to make everyone feel comfortable and makes sure his food is always fresh.I dont think that this place should be compared to other Vietnamese restaurants,it is in a class by itself.
so so. The food was okay. I went here because the real saigons on El Cajon Blvd was closed. I thought they might be the same owners, Wrong! The food was 2x's as expensive with half the portions. Besides that, it wasn't as delicious. It's nice if you want to impress a date(better than them thinking your a psycho for going to a hole in the wall at any other pho shop) but not worth it at all. It has better service and embiance but not worth the hike. All I had was the spring rolls and pho.
French-influenced Vietnamese cuisine served in a casually sophisticated setting..
In Short
Unlike many of the casual pho noodle eateries in the city, this upscale restaurant takes authentic Vietnamese cuisine to a higher level with specialties like creamy basil fish, smoked oyster omelette and 360-degree beef, a melt-in-your-mouth delicacy featuring seasoned chunks of filet mignon. Helpful servers dressed in traditional long gowns help patrons navigate the lengthy menu, while gleaming hardwood floors, crisp white linens and a soothing Buddha fountain help set a mood of subtle elegance. Spring rolls and sugarcane shrimp are the star appetizers, while tableside dishes like Saigon fondue and beef a la grille are perennial crowd-pleasers.
