“Really speedy service and my washer is running great”
6 months and still waiting on the repair.
This is my second experience with Appliance Rescue. For the same ice maker. First time took 6 weeks to get the part. That repair lasted 6 months.
In December 2010 I called to get the ice maker repaired a second time. Tech came out, and even brought a Christmas decoration. Said it looked like the same problem but would need to discuss with another tech the part to order. Would come back out and install once the part came in. Didn't hear from them for several months and called back in March 2011.
Took most of the day for them to figure out that no part had been ordered back in December. They were apologetic and said that the part was being ordered that day, and that they would call me when it got in. End of school year with the kids etc, finally call them back today to wonder where my part is. Again, most of the day to figure out what was happening.
It turns out that a part still has not been ordered, because they still dont know what is wrong. A different tech needs to come out and look at it before they can order anything and fix it. So I am exactly where I was 6 months ago. No ice maker and no one with any idea what is wrong. This is of course after being lied to by the office staff about parts being ordered in March and December. If it wasn't a warranty repair I would simply tell them to pound sand and find a company that can actually fix my ice maker. Instead, now I have to take another afternoon off of work to watch a second tech look inside and tell me its broken. Then wait another unknown number of weeks for a part, before taking a third day off to finally, maybe get it repaired.
At this rate I am hoping to have nice in time for Christmas this year.…
repeat customer, there's a reason. We have had the same serviceman several times. He is friendly, polite, diligent and very knowledgeable.
Out of their way to help. Stephan installed an ice maker, and noticed a problem with the plumbing to the water line. Called a plumber and presto magico all fixed and working great.
one year warranty.. dang. I had my front loading washer repaired maybe 5 times. Each time I called a company out it cost me extra money. That's why when I saw this waived service fee and a warranty I was like "come on really'? But it's all in the paperwork. At east I know in the next year I wont' be paying for the same repair twice.…
Rad. I usually do my own repairs but appliances for the most apart allude me. I called ARS out to repair my ice maker. The technician must have repaired plenty of these because he knew the exact problem and was done within an hour. Didn't even give me a hard time about looking at my range.…
