- From the North: Take the Airport/Sassafras exit from I-5 South; continue to Laurel St., turn left, and stay in right lane; continue east on Laurel (after Sixth Avenue, Laurel becomes El Prado); cross bridge and go straight to museum. or Take the 163 Freeway South to the Park Blvd. Exit; turn left onto Park; go to Presidents Way, turn left; at stop sign turn right; continue to museum. From the South: Take the I-5 to 163 north. Follow it to Zoo/Museums exit (Richmond St.). The ramp becomes Upas St. Continue on Upas to Park Blvd.; turn right and go to Presidents Way; turn right and go to stop sign; turn right; Continue to museum. City Bus: Take the #7 from Broadway/Downtown and ride Directly to Balboa Park.
