sucha quaint hotel =). we stayed here over the weekend and was very happy with the service and cleanliness.

its located in the heart of sd... and everywhere is accessible via the 8 freeway and 5 freeway. the hotel itself makes you feel like you are in hawaii and it was quiet and serene. the waterfall sounds in the courtyard just made me feel relaxed on my staycation!

our room had a view of the golf course... and it was gorgeous!

we ate dinner at the islands sushi bar and to my amazment... it was great food! the chefs there are creative and fun!

i love this place! thx

Not bad, was better. I have a home iin San Diego and in New York. I rent the San Diego home so I have to stay in a hotel when I'm here. The Crowne used to be musch better than it is now. Don't know if I'll continue to stay here.

Not awful but not good!. My stay at the Crowne Plaza was a mixed expierence. The ladies at the front desk as well as the waiters and bartenders throughout the property were very nice and helpful. The food was pretty good in the resturant, and the sushi bar was wonderful! We called down to the front desk for a few item and they were quickly brought to our room.

The layout of the hotel is kind of odd, and can be difficult to find your room. The room was nice and very clean but you could hear everything going on around you. The doors are heavy and pretty much slam every time you close them unless you try very hard to close them quietly. If anyone comes or goes on your hallway or the hallway above or below you WILL hear it. In addition to the slaming doors you will hear talking, walking, and laughing all day and night. Not a good place to have some peace and quiet.

The pool and hot tub were nice and very clean. However they close at 11pm even on the weekend. My fiance and I were sitting in the hot tub relaxing when two security gaurds rudely kicked us out. You would think we robbed a bank and exscaped to the hot tub the way they were treating us. We simply did not see the very small sign on the far side of the fence that said it closed at 11. If they are that serious about the closing time they should post it upon the enterance.

All in all it was a good trip but now that I am home the hotel has charged my card an extra $79.19 and no one at the hotel seems to know why. I have spoken to many people and managers who cannot explain the charge and the accounting department said they would call me back, they havent yet.

Good Luck.

Editorial Review. Tropical-themed burger joint is also famous for fresh-cut fries and fruity cocktails.
