Hillcrest taco shop offers Mexican favorites for under $10. Tucked away in one of the cramped strip malls along University Ave, Lalo's is a light, bright dining room gets packed at during lunch hour and just after work. Most menu items come in at under $10, even the fresh seafood ceviches and shrimp tacos. Other specialties include the huge breakfast burrito and build-your-own burritos. Don't miss the kids menu, too, for the little ones and banuelos (honey and sugar-coated tortilla chips) for dessert.
