The food is good, the prices are fair,
but the ambiance is great. There are cheaper places if all you want is good Thai food (ahem Bangkok Spices), but if you are dining in, Amarin is the place to go for the atmosphere

Affordably priced, authentic Thai cuisine attracts an eclectic crowd..
In Short
Tucked away in a strip mall, this neighborhood Thai restaurant is a little lacking in ambience but the expansive menu and friendly service more than make up for the unpretentious décor. Specialties range from Choo-chi duck and Thai barbecue chicken to braised lamb in a curry and wine sauce and lemongrass fish. Many beef and chicken dishes feature savory curry sauces and the menu includes a good selection of noodles and seafood. (Most items on the menu may also be made vegetarian and diners can choose from a spiciness scale of one to 10.) Regulars rave about the appetizers and the generous daily lunch specials.

Authentic Thai at Amarin Thai.
Thai restaurants are a dime a dozen these days but Amarin definitely shines above them with an extensive menu of authentic thai delicacies and service that can't be beat. One of the things my wife and I enjoy the most about Amarin is the neighborhood feel the restaurant has. Whenever we go there, you can tell that most of the people there are the folks from the area that enjoy the food Amarin has to offer. Definitely try the green curry with tofu!
