In Short – Tables topped with delicate white flowers, oversized windows, and walls adorned with rich paintings create an inviting ambiance for families and couples alike. Small dishes include pan-fried dumplings and satay skewers. Popular entrees include the thai hot basil rice, a dish served with chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, seafood, vegetarian or roast duck. For dessert, try a scoop of the homemade mango ice cream. –
Used to be good-- but not anymore
by boejetsy
This popular local noodle house has changed it's menu. apparently no one ever heard the mantra if it's not broke don't fix it. Changing our favorite dishes (conconut thai soup with vermechelli and the chicken skewers) so that now they are unrecognizable and taste bland. When asked about the new menu and how people reacted the waitress causually commented how old customers miss their favorite dishes (many which have been omitted from the menu) but the new customers are fine. So i hope they enjoy their new menu without the old customers (we watch two couples leave before ordering they were so disappointed-- not that they missed anything). dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.
- Pros: nice decor
- Cons: food
As long as Liberace's not cooking...
by alwaysataho
The food here is incredible, the waitstaff very knowledgable, and the prices below what it could be. The decor is something you have to see to believe. It's entirely white, from the walls, floors, grand piano, and the dj's clothes. It looks like it was created by Liberace and my Italian grandmother, who still loves gold-marbled mirrors. It leaves anyone feeling inadequate and has nothing to do with Thai food. The decor may be too flamboyant even for Hillcrest.
- Pros: Food
- Cons: Decor, ambience
