Among the best in SD. It's a toss up between here, Landini's in Little italy, new York Pizza in Carlsbad and Sicilian Thing. All are so good I honestly can't choose which ones I like the best.

Hands down, the best pizza in San Diego.. I was born in Manhattan and grew up in the Bronx and Long Island. I've been eating pizza forever (excluding 2 years outside Chicago as a child where one cannot find NY style pizza). My wife claims my body is comprised of stacked pies. Matt's guys bake a truly superior pie - better than you'll find in 99.9% of NYC pizzerias, including Ray's. Thin, crisp crust with excellent flavor & texture. Premium tomato sauce & cheeses (yes, there is a major difference between premium ingredients and what you'll find dumped on most pizzas), and properly seasoned ovens. Be sure to eat in. Transporting the pies causes them to lose their crispness.
