Ruined our company party. I read that people like the prices at Shogun, but when you plan a company Christmas party well in advance (with reservations of course) for 16 people arriving in a limo, price isn't the issue. We arrived 15 minutes early dressed to the nines. After a 40 minute wait outside in the cold we were told our "reserved" table was still busy and probably would be for some time. We had reservations also at a comedy club after the meal, so we were forced to leave and try to salvage the meal portion of the evening at a less than desirable locale since it was a Saturday evening and any place decent would already be full. I will never know if the food is any good because we will not be going to Shogun ever again. So, if you want to have a planned evening spoiled and leave frustrated and hungry, go to Shogun in San Marcos for an "unforgettable" experience!
