Champagne prices, Pabst Blue Ribbon quality (if even that). This pizza is ok at best. I called to order a large with 3 toppings and it was going to be over $25!!! I told the guy to cancel my order and he tried to explain the price to me. These guys are charging WAY more than even CPK or Sammy's. The problem is their pizza is generic run of the mill NY style pizza. It's alright, but it's nothing special. Even Hoboken Pizzeria in Pacific Beach charges less and they have maybe the best pizzas in the county. I would recommend Papa John's or Pizza Hut over these guys any day. You're better off getting a frozen Tombstone from Albertson's.

Horrible customer service and mediocre pizza!. If you want New York attitude this is the place to go. There is nothing special about the pizza - it's neither great nor horrible. A little greasy for my taste but much better than popular chain places. However on my only visit I had the rudest service. Extremely unfriendly and I felt as though my order was a bother and I was not treated as a valued customer. I will never eat here again because when I sepnd my money on a nice meal I feel as though a "Thank you" and "Come again" are necessary. No salutation other than "Mario's pizza" was given when I placed my order over the phone and after my order was placed the guy took it end ended the call with "25 minutes" and then hung up. When I came in to pick up my order he said "Can I help you?" but it sounded more like a demand than a question. The secret to retaining customers is by giving quality customer service. There is no quality here when it comes to treating your paying customers the right way!
