Best experience. We just ate at taste tonight we met the new owner and new manager ....very professional and they made us feel so welcoming..we had the shrimp scampi it was to die for

My wife had the chicken Marsala and it was the best she ever had

Great atmosphere and the bar has a very warm and cozy feel to it

They have also have a covered Parkin now with fire pits and they told us they will start to have entertainment soon

Bad food, bad service & bad value. We were so excited to see a nicer dinner option coming to our neighborhood. Oscars, Souplantation, Subway, etc. gets kind of old. Unfortunately we probably set our expectations too high. We have now visited the restaurant 3 times since they opened, hoping the kinks have been worked out. Each time it has been worse. The last time we only went because it was a fundraiser for Torrey Hills Elementary. The service is slow and unattentive. You have to ask more than once for the basics - water, refills, bread, etc. The food is not very good either. The chicken seems as if it has been cooked, frozen, then defrosted and warmed when you order it. It is hard and rubbery on the outside. The pasta is nothing special. We have gone back to our old standby Italian.... Villa Capri in the old Vons plaza in Carmel Valley.
