Great Burgers and Beer!. We went here after seeing the place on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives; and we were not at all disappointed. On our first venture out, I tried the venison burger and my husband had the elk. We wanted beer, but didn't know what was going to go well with our particular burgers. The guy taking our order heard our discussion and was able to recommend a good beer to complement the burgers....and he let us sample the beer as well. His recommendations were right on!

On our second visit, we brought a couple of friends and between us tried the elk and venison again, as well as alligator and buffalo. Husband loved the alligator, but I'll stick with the venison every time.

The fries aren't included with the burgers, but I don't mind paying for them separately to get exactly what I want. They offer both regular and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries are awesome. They've got parmesan cheese sprinkled on top and it's a big order, so enough to share between at least two people.

interesting selection - did not live up to expectations :(. Diners Drive ins and Dive raved about this place. Possibly they just were having a bad day in the kitchen when I went. kangaroo burger was thin with a watery 'horseradish' sauce. If you want an odd selection of meats and want to be able to say to friends, "I ate ostrich, 'gator', buffalo or elk", then this might be the place to go.

Onions rings were heavy with oil and were a disappointment, but oddly the fries were great. Sort of a hit and a miss.

Not impressed. My first time at this place I'm open minded. Go in sit down at the bar with my friends read the menu. I felt the burgers were a bit on the pricey side at 5.49 for a regular burger...but you get no fries with that...not even a little pile...you have to order them separate..which of course costs more. Well let that one go and ordered a #10...burger with pepper jack cheese and an order of fries. Well although somewhat speedy on the delivery of the food...the guy who gives you your plate does'nt even give you napkins. At all. You have to get up and go get them for yourself..along with any other condiments you might enjoy with your burger and fries. Then my friend asks if he can order another beer..considering we had been sitting there eating already. The man pointed to the line and said you have to wait in line and order another. No this could be a crazy thought...but if someone is already eating your food the last thing they probably want to do is sit in line to order another drink. They cant evan get you one drink...or a refill. But yet sits a tip jar at the front where you order...and I can't help but question...what are you getting tipped for? If I can't even get a refill you surely don't deserve a tip. Get real and get better service then maybe you can live in Hodads shadow.....good luck!

Amazing food, great happy hour!. Where else can you got 30 different burgers, all with their own unique flavor and freshly-made gourmet sauces? My current favorite is the Texas with hickory BBQ and and the Forestierre with mushrooms (I add swiss of course!)

Other reviews have mentioned all the meats you can get so I won't cover that again. But I will say that the Pork Loin sandwich with roasted red pepper pesto is amazing! A bargain at $6.25, it is only $3.99 during happy hour.

Daily happy hour 3p-6p was awesome, but now it is also 9p-11p friday and saturday! They have a lot of happy hour food and drink deals.
